Drafting with Templates
The "Draft with Template" feature is within the Al Assistant that allows you to generate new documents by combining a selected template with one or more source files.

Using "Draft with Template"
To generate a new document using a template and source materials:
Al Assistant: Click on Al Assistant in the Navigation Pane.
Add Files: Click 📎 (add Files) and upload or select one or more source files that contain the content you want to incorporate.
Apply Template: Click Apply Template to upload or select the file you want to use as a template
Send a Prompt: In your prompt specify the areas in which you'd like Paxton to focus when drafting with your template.
Example: Please draft a new motion to dismiss using the provided template and complaint documents. Your goal is to create a clear, well-argued motion to dismiss the complaint in the case of Alex Johnson and Taylor Reed v. MetroTech Services, Inc. & Jordan P. Mills.
To do this, review the template titled Acme Corp.'s Motion to Dismiss Plaintiff's Amended Complaint, which includes standard legal arguments for dismissal based on lack of personal jurisdiction, lack of subject matter jurisdiction, and failure to state a claim under Rules 12(b)(1), 12(b)(2), and 12(b)(6) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Ensure that the structure, tone, and legal reasoning align with the style and substance of the template.
